At only 27, James Clay has developed a unique style of songwriting that draws from his tumultuous years of personal struggles with spirituality and self-discovery in the Missouri Heartland. Growing up without a father, James drew from the Bible for comfort and direction. He worked hard to support his struggling family, and it was during this time that James discovered his passion for music.

Eventually, James got the attention of music industry executives, which brought him to his current career as a singer-songwriter at Friday Records.
