DAN DEMAY


Growing up in a musical family, Dan Demay began playing music at a very young age. His mother was a performer at the Grand Ole Opry, and his brother David is a seasoned producer, recording artist, musician, engineer, songwriter, and vocal coach. Dan moved to Nashville in 1988 after serving in the Air Force. He decided to pursue a career in songwriting and was soon writing with some of Nashville's top songwriters.


Artists who have recorded Dan's songs include Martina McBride, Tracy Lawrence, John Michael Montgomery, Darryl Worley, Tracy Byrd, and Cledus T. Judd. Dan is currently a writer at Friday Records, continuing his family's musical traditions.
